Sherwood Lentil Pie

 2 cups Lentils (canned)
 2 Brown Onions
 2 Garlic Cloves
 3 tbsp Tomato Paste
 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
 2 cups Sweet Potato / Potato Mash

Chop onions, crush garlic and drain and clean lentils.

Cook the lentils for ~15 minutes, wash and drain well.

Sauté the onions and garlic in a little oil.

Add the tomato paste and cook until the onion starts to brown.

Mix in soy sauce and cooked lentils.

Put the mixture into an ovenproof casserole dish. Spread mashed potato over the top.

Broil in oven at 200c until browned.
